I love my Puerto Rican grandma.

Her- You know that you're so bright and intelligent, right? You are smart enough to do whatever you want to do in life so, if you want to film, then you're going to do it. You are also such a beautiful young lady and don't let anyone tell you differently.

Despite having to wake up at 4:30 a.m. and saying goodbye to my babes, my first day back in Arizona has been a success. I spent most of the day with my mother running errands, being her chauffer, and listening to her have road rage which is always hilarious. The night consisted of my friend Emily’s band North Dakota playing a fucking awesome show at the Fixx, almost being smacked in the face...

WatchWhitnee and I saw Beirut tonight at Stubbs and we managed to take a quick video of Elephant Gun. They are even better live than on their albums. And the fact that they played mostly older songs was awesome as well.
